2020: My Most Intentional Year Yet

I'm a sucker for fresh starts. I really am. Every morning you have the opportunity to plan a day filled with things that are going to bring you closer to what you want out of life. Every Monday is a fresh start to a new week that is jam-packed with blessings that are already in the works. Every 1st of the month brings its own beauty; new seasons, new perspective, new discovered strengths. And of course the big one... a new year!

I've already begun some preparation for 2020. I never really thought of it as a ritual until I sat down to share this post, but I like to dedicate each year to something that is heavy on my heart. This year, it is to be more intentional. Living intentionally means (to me) that in my every day I am putting a conscious effort towards the things that I want out of my life. For example, a deep relationship with Jesus, a close-knit family, healthy children, a successful business.

In doing so, it's important to write down those things that are in my head and on my heart. I'm not affiliated with either one of these companies; I just had to tell you about the two journals I recently purchased that I believe are exactly what everyone needs if they want to live more intentionally as well.

Morning Prayers.

The Daily Prayer Journal is a 30-day prompted prayer journal. Get your cup of coffee and your softest throw blanket and spend some time with your Heavenly Father. Each day you are asked to list the verse of the day and then encouraged to dive deeper into that scripture by answering the question, "What is God telling you through this verse?" You'll follow that with "Lord, teach me to..." You have 4 pages of questions that search your heart and build your relationship with God. I'm two weeks into my first copy and already feel strengthen in my faith. While you are ordering one for yourself go ahead and order another one to give as a Christmas gift for someone special this year.

Daily Planner.

Veteran-owned and designed, The Christian Planner is a tool for you to be productive in balancing your personal, professional and spiritual life. This is my first time purchasing The Christian Planner, but I can tell you it has already been the answer to my prayers. He's never said anything, but I know I must drive Cody crazy with my piles of spirals all over the house. One for church notes, one for work, one for goals, one for the kid's schedules, etc. It's a lot. The Christian Planner has a specific space for everything on your "to do" list which makes organization a breeze. I just finished prepping my 2020 planner with birthdays and month tabs. Each week, in addition to the standard daily schedule log, there is a space for you to fill in weekly sermons, track your healthy habits, log your week's reflections, and doodle Bible Study notes. A feature that I personally love is the Vision Board space in the front of the planner. It's the perfect spot to cut and paste photos or images that inspire you, doodle your favorite scriptures, and/or draw pictures of the things you're praying for.

There are lots of colors to choose from. Which one is your favorite?

Accessories.

Accessories make your planner more organized and polished... and let's get real, they're a lot of fun too!
