Summer Sweat in Color

This year, above any other year, deserves some color. Some brightness! Don't you agree?? I wanted to create a shop guide that was fun, uplifting, and motivating. I think we could all use some of that this Summer.

Whether you're crushing your HIIT workouts from home or lacing up your sneakers for outdoor runs, you are sure to find something vibrant below to add to your sweat sessions.

Accessories

Make a statement with a bright tank or neon pair of shorts, but compliment them with a subtle black or white sneaker. I love these white ADIDAS and solid black New Balance running shoes; they pair easily with anything.

No workout is complete without headphones that bring the beats and a water bottle that keeps your water chilled like it should. I find that I drink more water when my bottle has a straw lid, but they aren't always the easiest to clean which is why I also really like twist tops.

The duffle gym bag linked is one of the most multifunctional bags I've found. The features that sold me...

  • Made out of water resistant polyester

  • Has a shoe compartment with ventilation holes

  • Includes a wet pocket located on the inside of the bag to hold your wet items

  • Located on the back is a luggage belt making it a great travel companion

Apparel

There is good reason why I've been a Zyia Active rep for over two years; they're always coming out with the most adorable pieces and the quality is fantastic. Your activewear should compliment your shape no matter what that looks like and that's just what Zyia does. Below are a few of my "Summer in Color" faves.

Workout Equipment

If 2020 taught us anything, it's that we don't need a gym membership to workout and stay in shape. The two items that I believe should be in everyone's garage gym are resistance loops and kettlebells.

Loop bands are great for taking any workout to the next level by adding tension and resistance to incorporate more muscle activation.

Kettlebells have made it mainstream and are arguably the new dumbbell. Everyone uses them these days! Not only can they be used for an array of exercises, they're also similar to the loop bands in that they activate multiple muscles groups helping you get the most out of your workouts.
